About us

Santra Putra Guesthouse is located on an elevated hill of the village Penestanan Kaja, west side of the river Campuhan and the town of Ubud. 

The guesthouse is managed and operated by Wayan Karja since 1989. There are currently 18 rooms, each has a distinct personality, but all have wonderful views of lush gardens or rice fields. The family lives on the property which gives not only a glimpse of traditional Balinese ways in a modern day world but also a more personal view of Ubud and Bali. 

Studio: The space was conceived as a creative hub, encouraging cross disciplinary engagement of artists. The grounds have proven an excellent venue for workshops, and is hired by professionals who organize residential courses that range from Yoga to Painting throughout the year.
